So I’ve done a few training programs with Richard and found the PT program totally different to the 8 week accountability. I do think you would have to have some knowledge around nutrition or have completed the 8weeks before trying the new programme if you want the best outcome. There is no room for learning about nutrition it’s got to be right from week 1. It is made very clear how your macros/ calories alongside your work out and general activity really impact on your weight and muscle definition. The sessions themselves are intense and there is no time to rest. Richard not only plans the sessions based on on your individual needs he is on you all the time to achieve your best and monitors your progress closely…no hiding.

Do be warned it is hard and needs your full dedication…it’s not for the weak hearted. If you can give it your all it’s well and truly worth every penny. I have lost that last bit of weight that I couldn’t shake off and I feel and look stronger and more defined. I couldn’t of done it without Richards knowledge and pushing me to go further. It’s not something you do as one off it a life style change. Trust him and listen and you will achieve it if you want it

Just want to say, I’ve come to a regular gym today as a guest with my partner at David Lloyd. I haven’t been to a gym since before I joined FF you in the late summer.
Used to hate it.
Still do.
But… I had more of a clue what I needed to do with the weights, so gave it a go solo with your voice in the back of my head
And I pushed myself to run on the treadmill to try out my cardio which is generally shit.
I used to get to 10 mins max on a jog ish speed and feel like shit and give up.
Today I managed 5k, took me 32 mins and I ran for all of it.
It’s progress as I obvs have more stamina and don’t give up as easy as I used to.
I have you to thank for that.
I know I have a way to go but this proved it to me really how good guidance assists.

The 8 week training has been the most rewarding experience so far at Fusion Fitness. From the 8 weeks I have learnt to eat and fuel my body for a purpose, whether that be for training, muscle repair or sustaining energy for the day ahead. That food is not just to fit my macros anymore.

The one to one training has been tough and more intense than group session but the results are amazing. I felt you have to be fully committed and not miss sessions to really feel the impact to see better results. Richard has been so supportive, he has given personal feedback on technique, he guides you through the whole process with weekly meetings, daily conversations and daily meal reviews. Throughout the whole process I have been supported by Richard and felt I have always had someone to go through any concerns. It really is a fantastic experience! I feel stronger, fitter than I ever have. The 8 weeks (I feel) is more tailored to people who may have a little weight to loose and are ready for a challenge. Because I did the accountability plan first I gained a basic understanding of my macros and food before starting. This helped me when starting this new programme. I would recommend it first!
 
If you are committed, follow Richards instructions and are ready for a challenge then this 8 weeks is for you. It has been so rewarding, I have had the best laughs, moaned (alot) but I would not change a thing. I feel like a completly different person. Thank you Richard. x

Being a mother of 2 children and holding down a part time job was proving difficult for me to fit in any exercise away from home and the worst thing was my eating habits were becoming increasingly worrying, I have learnt through eating smarter and frequent minimal exercise that my “look better” goals are achievable.

I suffer from a fairly unique shoulder issue that used to cause me pain most of the time. I wanted to do more at the gym but I didn’t want to aggravate the pain, and my doctor only suggested starting heavy duty painkillers. I approached Richard who developed a fitness plan for me with a particular focus on building upper body strength. 6 months later, not only has my overall fitness improved, but the pain in my shoulder has decreased to an extent where it only affects me perhaps once a week. This has had a really positive impact to my quality of life.

I started training with Richard a good ten months ago, and I can say with certainty it’s the wisest decision I’ve made. I was at first reluctant to commit to a fitness and exercise regime due to lower back issues, but little did I know they would practically disappear a few sessions down the line. With Richard we focused on core strengthening, among other fun and diverse things, and I am happy to say I haven’t had any problems since. Richard turned me from potato couch into gym enthusiast in no time, and all I can say is, we’re just getting started!!

I’ve trained with Richard for years and years now and I have enjoyed every second. The sessions are always varied and even with just a 30 minutes workout, you feel challenged and pushed to the limit. I’ve attended personal sessions, group sessions, sessions of 2 or 3 and you are always guaranteed not only an excellent workout, but a hell of a lot of fun. If it wasn’t for Richard I would have never tackled any weights on my own or any of the scary tools that are in the gym. I would have stuck with the cross trainer and never ended up going to the gym again. Richard gets you in and gets you working, no nonsense.

I have always struggled to motivate myself to exercise, I have tried different gyms, different classes, yet for whatever reason I have not stuck at it and given up after a weeks. Since starting Richards classes I have continued to go twice a week, as once I get there and get stuck I really enjoy it. Every session is different yet engaging which is the biggest thing for me as on past experience I can get bored very easily! Richard genuinely cares about each person achieving results and is always happy to assist if we need any extra help or advice. The sessions are great value for money and the fact that it is a great bunch of girls too really makes a difference!
